1. Receiving blankets! These are really so easy to make. It's just two pieces of fabric sewn together. We went over three different ways to do the binding around the edge. Here is a link to follow!
2. Collapsible Storage Boxes! These seem a bit trickier and Camille shared her thoughts on how to cut the board that goes inside. Here is the link. So cute.
3. Car Organizers! These are made to fit behind your drivers seat and passengers seat to hold all sorts of stuff for the people/kids sitting behind. Camille made hers from an outdoor kind of fabric. Very cute. Take a look in her van next time you pass it. Here's the tutorial. (You should definitely use more exciting fabric than they used in this tutorial.)
4. Binky Holders! No link or tutorial for this one. I demonstrated it at our meeting. Here are the basics:
- Choose a cute ribbon. The kind that are sort of waxy are best. They don't show dirt as much. The completely fabric ones (though cute) are not great.
- Cut the ribbon to the length you want - 12" is a good length.
- Burn/melt the ends just a bit to stop fraying.
- Hammer in the snaps on the ends. One end snaps around the binky. One end snaps around a suspender clip. And you're done. (Except, of course, if your 2-year-old takes a pair of scissors and snips the finished binky holder in half during the demonstration at your house.)
* Remember Camille is willing to help anyone one-on-one if you're needing some extra guidance. Just ask!
